About Founder

Hi, I'm Molly, and here is how I formed the training principles that lead me to create Motion Quest.  My life, since I was a child, has been a study of movement. This is my story:

 I was a professional ballet ​dancer plagued with injuries, and as a principal dancer, I pushed my body to the extreme. Even before my career-ending injury that forced me to retire, I began a quest to find ways to be able to move, exercise, dance, and perform. My "Motion Quest" started as a professional dancer. I started cross-training in swimming, yoga, weight training, and Pilates to help rehabilitate from an injury.   Pilates offered a lot of the stabilization I needed and helped me tremendously. I decided to get certified to become a teacher of it in 1999. My training system's base concepts are drawn from Pilates, ballet, and all that I have learned along my movement journey.

Policies

How To Get Started:

Create an area or space for yourself to move freely     

Wear clothing that is easy to move in, non-restrictive, and comfortable.   

New Clients or Students Please fill out information form  

Please give a 24-hour notice for private session cancelations. A 10$ fee will be charged for same day cancelations     





Payment

Group Online Classes: $10 per class

Private Classes: $50 per session
